Fishing is a profession in Core Keeper that allows the player to catch fish using a fishing rod, so it’s time to learn who are the best fishes to catch and about their cycle and abilities. Fish in this game are important as they give you interesting buffs that can permanently buff your character.
This guide will show you a tier list of all the cooked fish in Core Keeper.
Core Keeper: All Cooked Fish Tier List Guide
When it comes to catching the fish, the chance to catch them is presented down in the picture, but it doesn’t mean that if the chances are small the fish is worth catching.

Orange Cave Guppy
Let’s start with the Orange Cave Guppy. Its status is that this fish Is +19 Food, + 2.1 health sec for 20 seconds, + 8 mining damage for 5 minutes.

Blue Cave Guppy
Next is the Blue Cave Guppy, one of the finishes worth catching. It will benefit you because of its characteristics which are offering you + 21 food, +2.2 health every second for 20 seconds, +5% dodge chance for min.

Rock Jaw
The third fish for which we are gonna talk is the Rock Jaw. So this one gives you +22 food, +2.5 sec health for every 20 seconds, 15.9% melee damage for 5 min. The 15% melee damage for 5 min will especially help you against the Gorm the Devourer.

Gem Crab
Next, we have the Gem Crab that will give you +21 food, +3.1 health every second for 20 seconds, +14 armor for 15 minutes. This one helps you to easily win the boss fight because of the armor so because of its use we can place this fish in the decent category because it is rare and you have only an 8% guarantee for catching crab.

Clay caves and the larva biome is the next what I am going to show you. So there is only 7.69% to catch the Vampire Eel, and 52.88% to catch the Yellow Blaster Head. The other two are something between.

Yellow Blister Head
The Yellow Blister Head it gives you +21 food, +2.6 health every second for 20 seconds, and it makes you immune to being slowed by slime for 30 seconds. This is very important because sometimes stepping into the slime can be very annoying, especially during the boss fight.

Green Blister Head
The Green Blister Head gives you +20 food, +2.5 health every second for 20 seconds, and like the Yellow Blister Head, it is immune to the acid damage for 30 seconds.

The Devil Worm
The Devil Worm is also in this category which is good and worth catching because he gives you +20 food, +3 health every second for every 20 seconds, and most importantly 22.8% range damage for 5 min.

Vampire Eel
The last one in this category is the Vampire Eel, which gives you +21 food, 3.5 health every second for 20 seconds, and incredible +3 life on melee hit for 5 min. So if you pare the Eel with one of the rings you get from the bosses that give you also plus three, you will have more than enough lives.

The forgotten ruins in which category are included are the Dagger Fin, the Pink Palace Fish, Teal Palace Fish, and the Crown Squid. Chances for catching them are written in the following picture.

Dagger Fin Fish
The Dagger Fin Fish gives you +21 food, +3.9 health every second for 20 seconds, +13 thorns damage for 5min. It helps you with the thorns damage but I will put it in the decent category because not many people are using it.

Pink Palace Fish
Next is the Pink Palace Fish, which is one of the best-looking fish that gives you +22 food, 3.9 health every second for 20 seconds, but on the other hand, it gives you +4% melee attack speed for 5 min.

Teal Palace Fish
On this list is the Teal Palace Fish, which we can say is at the same level as the Pink Palace. It gives you +21 food, +4 health every second for 20 seconds, + 5% range attack speed for 5 min.

Crown Squid
Crown Squid is the last on the list of the forgotten ruins, it gives you + 19 food, +5 health every second for 20 seconds, and a +10% chance to knockback for 5 min.

Azios wilderness biome is the next group of fishes that need to be analyzed. So in the following picture, you can see what is your chance of getting these fish.

Azure Feather Fish
Azure Feather Fish is the most common and easy to find, it gives you + 21 food and +8% health every second for 20 seconds. Even though there aren’t any further benefits, this is the best healing fish in the whole game so because of that.

Emerald Feather Fish
Emerald Feather Fish gives you +20 food, +3% health every second for 20 seconds, +29 max health for 5 min, +7% critical hit chance for 5 min. It helps you to win the boss fights and is a must-have fish because of the healing and hit chances that these fish are offering.

Spirit Veil
The Spirit Veil is going to give you +19 food and an incredible +36.2% movement speed for 60 seconds. This amount of speed will give you so much more chances to win the boss fights and give multiple hits in less than 5 seconds.

Astral Jelly
The Astral Jelly gives you +21 Food, + 5.2 health every second for 20 seconds, +63 fishing for 5 min. It is good to have fish because it has high healing abilities, and it gives you +63 fish for 5 min, but on the other hand, it is hard to find it so you need to do a lot of fishing before getting this item.

The last group of fish belongs to the group of Molds, and here we have the Mold Shark, the Rot Fish, and the Black Steel Urchin.

Mold Shark
The Mold Shark is the easiest to get because of the 70% chance to find it on the way. It gives you +21 food, 4.8 health every second for 20 seconds, and +38.6% melee damage for 5 min. So the damage this fish can do through the boss fight can last enough so you can win the fight without any other efforts and because of that is a must-have fish.

Rot Fish
Second is the Rot Fish which gives you +21 food and makes you immune to mold infections, which isn’t bad but at the same time not so useful.

Black Steel Urchin
Last on this list is the Black Steel Urchin which gives you +19 food, +3.6% health every second for 20 seconds, +22 armor for 5min, and +15 thorns damage for 5 min. So it increases your armor and makes enough thorn damage.

I hope this guide will help you to recognize the fish you need to find and save the time you lose collecting the fish that doesn’t have any purpose or benefit to use.
