Floor objects have been added that will brighten up your base and make sure that you can wander anywhere around the base without worrying about light.

This guide will show you how to brighten up your base in Core Keeper the Sunken Sea Update!

Core Keeper: How to Brighten up Your Base

You can have different glowing colors of floors that you can add to different rooms. This can work great if you want to have a special selection of rooms to organize things much better.

Previously players have been placing lamps all around their base which not only takes up space, but it also just does not look the best.

When you firstly place down the floor item, it will have 1 color, after that, you’re able to switch the colors and make it look how you want. You can change the floor colors simply by having paint brushes in different colors.

The “Lit Floor” is mostly a mid-end-game item that will be hard to obtain as you start the game, it will require you to have:

  • 1 Limestone Wall
  • Octarine Bar

These items can be obtained in the newest biome, the walls are everywhere around the new biome, and the Octarine Bar can be spotted on the map as small purple dots.

With the proper set of skills and the right machines, you can farm these materials easily and brighten up your base quickly!
