The courtyard in Dracula’s Castle in the game Escape Simulator 2 requires you to solve a series of puzzles that you need to solve to open the door to the room. You will need to find all four moon keys that are hidden throughout the courtyard. We will also go through the Darkest Knight Puzzle that you get after completing the courtyard.
Today, we will be going through where to find all four Moon Keys, all the puzzles in the courtyard, and the Darkest Knight puzzle that you get after completing the escape room. Let’s get right to it!
All Courtyard Puzzles Solutions in Escape Simulator 2
Dracula’s Castle
Open the Chest
For this puzzle, you will first open the chest. To open the chest, you need a passcode. The passcode is 2 4 6 as shown below.
You will then take the 2 mechanical keys that are in the chest.
The Statue
You will then head to the statue that is at the entrance of the courtyard and use the Mechanical keys you just collected to interact with the statue.
You will then use the mechanical keys to turn the gears of both the statues in the courtyard till the lines align.
You will then get a key and 2 statuettes once you solve the puzzle.
The Key
You will then head to the room to your far left and use the key you obtained to open the room.
The Statuettes
You will then enter the room and place the statuettes on the table in the following order to open the secret compartment. You will then take the moon key after it pops up.
Mendacium Veritas
After getting the moon key, you will turn, and you should see a padlock with the engraving “Mendacium Veritas.” You will then turn the dial in the following order. “Mendacium, Mendacium, Veritas, Mendacium, Mendacium, Veritas.” After opening the drawer, you will find another moon key in it.
HELP!
Just below the drawer, you will find another chest. Arrange the words to spell help to open the chest. You will then take the Stake inside the chest.
The Wagon
You will then head to the side of the carriage and arrange the relics in the following order to open the carriage door.
Once the door opens, you will collect the Key and the bottle inside the carriage of the wagon.
You will then go to the back of the Wagon, where you will find a chest. Use the key you got to open the chest and place the hammer, bottle, and stake in the cutouts. You will find the hammer on a bench that is inside the courtyard. A secret compartment will then open up and you will find a mirror inside it.
The Well
You will then head to the well and take the leather bag that is in the well. Open the leather bag and take the item that is inside. You will then solve the puzzle on the well by moving the stone slab until you see the engravings.
The well will then open, and these are the answers you will pick when asked by the well.
- Question: Quid Est Post Vitam?
Answer: Mors
- Question: Quid Est Maximum
Answer: Sol
- Question: Quid Est Inimicus Ignis
Answer: Aqua
- Question: Ubi Sunt Falco
Answer: Caelum
After answering all the questions right, a moon key will appear.
The Shovel
You will then take the shovel, and you will see a patch of dirt just next to the shovel that is slightly raised. You will dig and find a mechanical key in the dirt.
You will then go to the location below and dig a hole next to the puddle, and after digging the area, you will find a chest in the ground.
You will then use the mechanical key to open the chest, and you will find the last moon key.
Open the Door!
You will then place all the Moon Keys on the door to open it and complete the puzzle.
Darkest Puzzle
To solve this puzzle, you will need to answer the following questions.
Q: Half of us lie, Half of us tell the truth
A: Lie
Q: There is only one liar among us?
A: Lie
Q: Everyone but me is a liar
A: Lie
Q: Most of us tell the truth.
A: Lie
Q: Most of us are liars
A: Truth
