Fractured Online is a sandbox MMORPG with an open world where you make your own decisions in order to survive and thrive. There is a cool temperature system in this game where you will need to keep an eye on if you want to stay alive and adapt to that temperature.

This guide will show you all you need to know about temperature in Fractured Online.

Temperature/Weather Explained – Fractured Online

Temperature:

The Temperature depends on the area/weather.

On the top right corner above the mini-map you can see a Temperature Gauge.

The Gauge is in Degrees Celcious.

Depending on how your Character is Dressed up, he will have a Heat and Cold Tolerance. These stats can be Shown in the Character Window.

For Example:

If your Cold Tolerance is +5 Degrees, and the current Temperature is 0 Degrees you’ll get 1 chill stack every 10 seconds. Until the Maximum Chill Stacks which is 50.

Now something that is different from Cold is Hot.

The thing with Hot temperatures is that you don’t have 50 Warm Stacks, you have 80.

To Increase the Tolerance for the Weather you can wear Thicker or Thinner clothes. Depending on the Day.

You can Also experiment with Materials which you can make or buy. You can combine the clothing and see which suits you out the best for which Temperature.

Weather:

The Weather system can be implemented through Clouds. In Fractured Online clouds can randomly spawn.

There are 4 types of Clouds:

  • Storm
  • Thunderstorm
  • Sleet Storm
  • Blizzard

The size of the Clouds can Vary.

The lifecycle of a cloud can be split into Low Intensity and High Intensity. The Highest Intensity is at the Center, while the Lowest Intensity is at the Border.

The Low Intensity is: Rain (Storm, Thunderstorm, Sleet Storm) and Snow (Blizzard).

The High Intensity is: Thunder-/Sleet-/Storm and Blizzard.

These  Clouds are happening Randomly throughout the Entire game.
