Grand Staircase 23 19 Door Puzzle Guide
To solve the 23 19 door puzzle, you need to go to the location using the Floo Flames fast travel to the Grand Staircase Tower or simply follow the winding steps to the top if you are nearby. The puzzle is hard to miss along with some portraits hanging on the wall.
These are the clues that you need to remember to solve the puzzle:
- The door hides the clue to solving the puzzle. Press F to reveal the equation that will help you solve the puzzle.
- Each animal symbol corresponds to a number from 1 to 9 from left to right.
- There will be 2 equations (top and bottom) and the missing link will be indicated as ? and ??.
- The number in the middle represents the sum or total of the number of symbols around it.
From the clues above, the answer to the equation would be:
- Top: Lizard (6), since, 15 + elephant (2) + lizard (6) = 23; You can find the plate where you choose the lizard symbol just a short distance up the stairs.
- Bottom: Cthulhu (7), since, Hydra (3) + Killer Bacteria (9) + Cthulhu (7) = 19; You can find the plate right across the puzzle.
