“We need more mediocre survival games!” – said no one ever, and yet here we are. Nightingale isn’t a bad game, it’s just a mediocre one and something we’ve seen many times before. However, I won’t deny that as a fan of the survival genre, I’m having some fun with it.

It has some nice puzzles in the world to solve, and this will be a guide to one of them.

How to complete the Puzzles

Some of the puzzles in Nightingale are called “Bastille of [Insert Word]” – for this one, it’s “Bastille of Insight” but there are also Bastille of Intellect, Bastille of Etc. etc… you get the point.

Most of the Bastille’s have their own unique way of being solved, and for the Bastille of Insight we’re going to be murdering some innocent fireflies, or rather fairies…

This puzzle is more of a time–trial than it is a puzzle, and its a pretty easy one.

All you have to do is find three of these fairy-looking things, chase them down, and beat them down with the weapon of your choice.

If you do this fast enough, some runes on the pillars near the puzzle should light up and you should be prompted to “Release Hope Echo” and claim your reward!
