Ah yes, a new Survival type game, how original. Nightingale isn’t all that unique in terms of the genre that it’s in, but it did have some new concept brought into the genre that we haven’t really seen all that much before, such as the procedurally generated realms you can inhabit.
The game is very pretty to look at, compared to some of its competition. One other thing we haven’t seen much of in the genre are the puzzles – yes, puzzles.
Bastilles of Nightingale Puzzle Guide In Nightingale

Despite the overall world being “randomly/procedurally generated” the puzzles in the game are not.
After starting multiple worlds with my friend to see just how different our experience would be each time, we’ve realized that there are certain things that are quite repetitive.
Such as these Bastilles, or rather “Fae Artifacts” that you can find within the world.
Bastille of Intellect
To be perfectly honest. I don’t know why this one is called the “Bastille of Intellect” as it doesn’t take much to figure out that it’s a sequence puzzle.
Namely, you need to activate the three blue, inactive crystals which are seen in the image below in the correct order.

The Crystals will glow in sequence once you approach the puzzle and all you need to do is activate them in that same order.
It gives you enough time to memorize it. Once you activate it you’ll be able to Release Hope Echo and claim the temporary buff from behind the bars near the puzzle.

And there you have it. As simple as that, I hope this guide helped you figure out how you can solve this puzzle!
