Outward Definitive Edition: How to get the Best Backpack in Early Game
In this game there are a ton of backpacks and satchels. All of them have different perks and will buff the player in different ways.
This backpack that I will show you how to get is the early-game backpack that may stay with you until the end.
The two items that you will need for this backpack are:
- Primitive Satchel
- Scaled Leather

You already start your game with the Primitive Satchel, you will need to head to the Soroborean Caravanner who is an NPC and will sell you the Scaled Leather.

If you open his shop and don’t find the Scaled Leather, it will mean that he is out of stock, simply rest on a resting area and return the next day, he may have it.
Once you have the Primitive Satchel and 3 Scaled Leathers, place them in your crafting menu, and you will craft a Scaled Satchel.

The capacity of the backpack is 60 which is more than you need for anything in this game. And you only need somewhere around 100 silver to collect the materials and craft the backpack.
