Outward Definitive Edition keeps surprising players with how much in-depth it can be. New Tips and Tricks for it keep appearing!

In this guide, we will be talking about our Top 5 Tips & Tricks for it. Let’s get started.

Top 5 Tips & Tricks – Outward Definitive Edition

Number 1 – Free Mana Regeneration

There are many ways that you are able to regenerate your mana. There is an enchantment that you are able to get and it will actually give you a passive buff of mana regeneration.

The item that you will want to buy is none other than the Scholar’s Circlet.

You can buy this item from the Alchemist in Sieeras or Harman map area. You can also get it from other alchemist shops that you are able to find in the big world of Outward Definitive Edition.

It is the best starting helmet even without being enchanted. You are also even able to place 2 passive enchants to make it even stronger.

You will want to place Rain as an enchantment. This will give you the mana regeneration that you will want to stick with. The only thing is, it must be raining outside. So another option is the Arcane Unison.

Number 2 – Pay your Starting Debt

The player starts the game with a debt of 150 silver. This is because of tribal law and one of the hero’s relatives. If the debt isn’t paid off in five days, the tribe will take the player’s house. Even worse, you will never be able to go back to the village of Cierzo.

Because your home is a safe place to rest and craft, and because Cierzo is full of helpful merchants, not paying one’s debt is a huge problem.

Luckily, it’s not too hard to get the 150 silver. The easiest way to do this is to give Helen Turnbull a mushroom, which is one of the quests the player can do.

You can also sell any loot they find, which is a quick way to make the rest of the money.

Number 3 – Organized Backpack & Not losing your Items

Items and materials for crafting can be kept in either the character’s pockets or their backpack. If you have a choice, it’s almost always better to put everything in your backpack.

Even if a character dies, they will come back, but the things in their pockets will be gone. Things are safe in the backpack.

Except for things like bandages and food for the day, which the character will definitely need in the short term, it’s better to go with the safer choice. Nothing is more annoying than getting the thing you need, only to lose it because it was in your pocket instead of your bag.

Number 4 – Towns are Much More Better Than you’d Think

You have skill tree trainers, merchants clean water, and even available houses that you’re able to buy. But there is so much more too!

The most important things that you’ll find in towns are these things and vendors:

  • Blacksmith
  • Mini Quests
  • Loot Towns

You will also need to sleep for 3 days to get them to refresh their loot for buying.

Number 5 – Burac

After creating a new character you will find a character named Burac. He will offer you a free skill for every weapon that you’ll have equipped. You are able to get a free skill and even get these skills from other places in towns.

The best skill to take from him is for the Halbert.

That should be it! We hope that this guide was useful to you! Have fun playing this game!
