This guide will show you how to farm in Spirit of the Island!
Farming Guide – Spirit of the Island
The first tool that you need to have to begin your farming journey is a Shovel. The shovel will be needed to dig up the dirt and obtain dirt items.

Once you’ve obtained enough dirt items, simply press B to open up the farming menu and see all the available options.
The first and most common option will be the Farm Crop option where you can place down dirt on the ground which will be needed for planting crops.

You will then see 3 green horizontal/vertical lines on the ground which will highlight where you can place the farm crop on the ground.

Once you’ve placed down the farm crops, you will need to water them and have different crops in your inventory. Once you have the crops, simply get close to the farm crop area and press E. This will allow your character to plant a few crops to they can begin growing.

To properly know if your crops are watered, you need to look at the color of the dirt. If it’s a bright color, that means that the soil is dry and needs to be watered. Simply get close to it with a watering can in your hand and begin watering!

If you run out of water in your watering can, simply get to a river or a lake to fill it up.
And just like that, you can now freely begin farming whatever you like in Spirit of the Island!
