Slakoth is a rare Pokemon that spawn mostly in the Southeast area of Paldea, South Province (Areas 1, 3, 5).

As most of the Pokemon spawn on the ground or in water, with the new mechanics in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, some of the Pokemon can spawn on the trees.
This is the tricky one because once you get to the mentioned location where you can find Slakoth, instead of looking around on the ground, you will need to keep your view up on the trees.
You have to actively look for him because he’s very hard to spot. You’ll have to rush the tree with your Koraidon or Miraidon if you want to shake the Pokemon and fall on the ground.
If you don’t have this ability yet, then you can unlock it by defeating the Stony Cliff Titan, the Klawl.
It will reward you with the dash ability and can start using it on the trees. The best way to spot a Pokemon on a tree is to look if there are some leaves falling down, which means there is some Pokemon moving on top of the tree.
This is the right time to start dashing the tree, and if you have luck enough, he will fall to the ground. But you must act fast and use your Poke Ball to catch him because he will quickly go back to the tree.
