Game Review – Garfield Lasagna Party
Game Story
The whole game is based on the old cartoon Garfield. You can see that the characters available in the game are the main characters from the same-named cartoon.

We have Garfield, Jon Arbuckle, Odie and others. It’s good to mention that this isn’t the only game that is published with these characters, so if you’re a Garfield fan you must try this one too.
GamePlay
You can choose between these two modes: The lasagna Challenge (the mini-games) or the Lasagna World Tour.
This game has 32 mini-games and 4 playable characters:
- Garfield
- Odie
- Arlene
- Nermal

It’s as well are relaxing game, because the rules are very simple and easily understandable for every player.
You will have an open board map, you need to roll the dice and go around the board to play the mini-games. The main aim is to gain more lasagna than your opponents.

The game can be played by 4 opponents, and you as will be able to choose the duration of the mini-games.
Despite the lasagna gains, during the game, you’ll be able to get other items that will upgrade your character strength. For example, the banana peels will steal the turn to roll dice for you, you can get items that will make you faster and items that offer other benefits.

Despite the mini-games, there are as well board cards that can lead you to other interesting events in the game.
Zooming in and out of the map will make your choices easier and you’ll be able to go in the wanted direction.

If you choose the Lasagna World Tour you’ll play as well some of the mini-games but without the board and choices.
Mini-Games Type
There are 32 of them and each offer different types of play. You may need to fight your opponents, collect items eat food and all of that to gain more lasagna than your opponent.
All of the mini-games areas are different and well-designed, each of them with a specific object, but the same characters and gameplay.

If you’ve watched the cartoon, you’ll notice that all of the areas are recalled from the places in the cartoon.

Is It Worth Playing?
Well, because of the lack of characters and changes during the play these may not be interesting for those who seek excitement and advantage during the game.

Despite that, this game will make you nostalgic and will offer interesting moments with the masterpiece characters that once were our favorites.
Well, I hope that this review will help you decide if you want to play this game or not, but I am Garfield’s Fan and I will say: It’s worth trying!
