Fuel up to the top!

Firewood is an essential resource in Manor Lords. In addition to food, knowing how to produce and store enough firewood impacts how quickly your settlement grows. Your citizens need firewood to cook and keep their houses warm and it also serves as fuel for some structures that produce other materials in your settlement.

In this guide, you will learn how to get fuel, which is essentially firewood in your settlement.

How to Get Fuel In Manor Lords

Build Woodcutter’s Lodge

In Manor Lords, two buildings employ citizens to fell trees. The first is the logging camp but the trees produced here are converted to timber.

Timber in Manor Lords is only used to make planks that you need for construction work. The Woodcutter’s Lodge, on the other hand, turns trees into firewood.

To build the lodge, navigate to the gathering tab of your construction mini menu. Ensure that you place the lodge close to forested areas. Also, assign workers to the lodge to keep the structure running.

TIP: To know how much firewood your settlement has, click the marketplace building. All firewood produced at the Woodcutter’s Lodge is automatically transported to the marketplace before distribution to necessary areas in your settlement.

How to increase fuel Supply in Manor Lords

Producing firewood to get fuel is not the only important thing you need to help your settlement thrive. You should also increase your fuel supply so you don’t run out.

Build a Forester’s Hut

Building a Forester’s hut and assigning workers to it pretty much guarantees a steady supply of trees to convert to firewood.

Doing this is even more crucial during winter when trees don’t grow well.

Charcoal Kiln

To double the fuel production in your settlement, build a charcoal kiln and place it near your woodcutter’s ledge.

To optimize the productivity of the charcoal kiln, ensure you have an iron deposit nearby.

NOTE: It still works great if you don’t have any deposit in your settlement.

There you have it. Now, you can get fuel and also increase the supply to help your citizens get through the winter while simultaneously growing your settlement.
