While you are playing online mode and participating in some of the Multiplayer activities, you can see that your trainer has its own icon that is set by default at the beginning of the game. However, if you don’t like it, you can actually change and take a new particular picture in the game and set it as your new Trainer Icon in Multiplayer. This icon can be seen by other players, and you will want it to be a unique one.

How To Change Trainer Icon In Multiplayer – Pokemon Scarlet And Violet
If you want to change your Trainer Icon, need to open the map or the Pokedex menu, then press “X” to get access to the menu on the left side of your screen
Click on the green icon and it will open your Profile.
Once you are in your Profile menu, press “+” and you will open the “Change Photo” section from the bottom menu bar.
You will get an option to choose which photo to change, and just click on the “Trainer icon”.

Then, you will get other options to choose between “Take a new photo” and “Go Back to the default photo”.
Normally, you will click on the first option and it will let you take a new photo with a camera in the game.
You can take a photo from whatever you want, and on the left side of the screen you can see the controls for using the camera.
The downside is that you can’t zoom out and the circle that will take the actual photo is too small.
To take the photo just press “A”, and it will show you the particular icon that you will get and do you want to update it on which you should select “Yes”.
