No more fall damage!

Eight years since its release, Fallout 4 remains one of the best editions in the franchise. With constant free updates from Bethesda to keep bugs out and keep fans immersed, Fallout 4 boasts a fun open world stacked with a ton of quests and side quests to keep you busy and engaged. The freefall armor is one of the best exploration equipment in the game to prevent you from taking fall damage while exploring high grounds.

In this guide, you will find out how you can find the Freefall armor and take no fall damage in Fallout 4.

Freefall Armor Location NO Fall Damage In Fallout 4

Finetune position with the Pip-Boy 3000

Navigate to the Mass Fusion building location. Access your PIP device and switch to the map interface. Make sure you are in the exact position shown below:

Run straight forward and climb the stairs. Then enter the first tunnel opening to the right as indicated below:

Climb down the stairs and turn right. In one corner of the room, you will find a dustbin turned upside down close to a mound of waste.

Pick up the dustbin and go back the way you came to your starting spot.

Once you are outside, you should see a robot standing to your far right.

Enter the opening shaft behind the robot and turn your camera downwards so the dustbin is directly below you.

Now, start walking backwards, and you will climb up the walls as if you have a jetpack on. Check your left and parkour into the first opening you see.

Save progress

To avoid repeating the process, once you get to this floor, you can quickly access your menu and save your progress.

Glide up some more

Now, turn left, and you should see some debris packed into a corner. Turn your camera down, make sure the dustbin is facing the ground and walk backwards.

If you did this right, your view should look like the image above. Continue walking backwards to glide up the wall until you see the two oval windows below:

Now, it gets very tricky. You need to gently drop down until you enter the shaft indicated below:

To do that, you will have to stop walking backwards to allow your character to drop down! Once you enter the opening, you are pretty much done.

Pick the safe lock

Move close to the safe in the room and trigger the lock-picking mechanics. Once you successfully unlock the safe, you will find a list of items.

Two of the items are the Freefall Armor’s left leg and the Freefall Armor’s right leg. Collect the two pieces of equipment and the other loot in the safe.

Equip Freefall Armor

Use your Pip-Boy device to quickly access your inventory. Then select the Armor and equip the right and left leg pieces. Now you can freefall without taking any fall damage!
